Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check the motor connector terminal connections and contacts
- 2
2. Plug out the connector and read resistances at any two of the three terminals on the motor
- 3
3. Lower washer motor winding coil resistance should be 10.2 to 12.4 ohms at 25 degrees C
- 4
4. Upper washer motor winding coil resistance should be 7.6 to 8.4 ohms at 25 degrees C
- 5
5. Check the motor Hall Sensor resistance on main PCB motor connector (between pins 2 and 4, and pins 3 and 4 of the four pins) - should be approximately 2 to 4 megaohms
- 6
6. Check voltage when power is on
- 7
7. Check whether the stator of the motor cover is damaged
- 8
8. Check for coil disconnections due to foreign material
- 9
9. If the PBA control circuit is faulty, replace the PBA
