What This Means

Water level sensor operates without water due to freezing or other reason; Temperature sensor detects 100-150 degrees C; PBA relay malfunction; Heater or temperature sensor contact error

What actually causes this:

The washer ran the heater without enough water in the tub, often due to a water supply issue.

First Thing to Check

Unplug the washer and let it cool for at least 30 minutes before attempting any reset.

    1. Check heater resistance: should be 16.05 plus or minus 0.65 ohms

    2. Check wash-thermistor at the back of the tub

  3. 3

    3. Check for water supply issues that may leave heater dry

    4. Check PBA relay function
