What This Means

Water level sensor air hose is damaged or punctured; Hose is clogged with foreign material; Hose is folded or kinked; Too much lubricant applied to hose insertion point; Hose disengaged from connection; Internal soldering fault in sensor; Water level sensor terminal is disengaged; Main PBA fault

What actually causes this:

Most often the small rubber air hose going to the water level sensor has kinked, cracked, or popped off its connection.

First Thing to Check

Open the top panel and check if the thin rubber hose connected to the round water level sensor is kinked, cracked, or disconnected.

How to Fix

    1. Check the water level sensor terminal connections and contacts

  2. 2

    2. Verify sensor is connected — check frequency reads approx. 25.0 KHz with no load

  3. 3

    3. Check that the correct water level sensor part is installed (verify material code)

  4. 4

    4. Inspect the air hose for folding, punctures, or disconnection

  5. 5

    5. If sensor is faulty, replace the water level sensor

  6. 6

    6. If error persists, replace the Main PBA (Assy Kit)
