What actually causes this:
The small motor that pumps liquid detergent from the auto-dispense reservoir has jammed or lost its wiring connection.
First Thing to Check
Check if the auto-dispense detergent reservoir is empty or if thick detergent has clogged the dispenser — clean it out.
