What This Means
Washing water temperature is 55C or greater when drain is requested; Temperature sensor fault or incorrect use; Hot water drainage could cause burns on contact
What actually causes this:
This is a normal safety feature — the washer pauses draining because the water is very hot. It will resume automatically once the water cools down.
First Thing to Check
Wait 15 to 20 minutes for the water to cool down. The washer should resume draining on its own.
