What This Means
CV defrost heater connector disconnected; CV defrost heater burned out or open circuit; Temperature fuse or bimetal opened; Main PCB relay defect
What actually causes this:
The heating element failed or the protection fuse opened

Check if frost buildup is visible in the FlexZone — excessive frost indicates defrost failure

1. After separating Main PCB CN70 wire, measure resistance between CN70_1-7 and 1
- 2
2. Normal resistance should be 63 ohm (or 230 ohm) ± 7%
- 3
3. 0 ohm indicates heater short — disconnect power immediately
- 4
4. Infinite ohm indicates heater or wire open circuit
- 5
5. Replace heater if out of specification
