Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 4
What This Means
Loose connector at CN30-5 or CN76-1; Damaged defrost thermistor; PCB solder joint failure; Open or shorted wiring
What actually causes this:
Defrost sensor wire disconnected or sensor element burned out
First Thing to Check
Check that the defrost sensor connector is fully inserted into the main control board
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check voltage between Main PCB CN30-5 and CN76-1
- 2
Expected voltage range: 4.5V to 1.0V
- 3
If out of range, inspect connector contact points
- 4
Measure resistance across sensor leads
