Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Press the Ice Maker test button on the ice maker assembly and hold for more than 1.5 seconds — ice maker should rotate through harvest cycle
- 2
If no rotation, check MICOM pin 18 input voltage (should change 5V/0V during motor rotation)
- 3
Check if water is supplied after a harvest cycle — if not, inspect water valve
- 4
If no mechanical response, check wire connections to ice maker and CN90 connector
- 5
Replace ice maker KIT if all wiring and PCB outputs are normal
