Error Code AMBIENT_SENSOR
Ambient temperature sensor malfunction affects cooling control
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: Ambient Sensor Error
What This Means
Bad connector contact at CN60 pin 5 and CN90 pin 8; Open circuit in ambient sensor wiring; Short circuit in sensor; Water infiltration or corrosion; Sensor mechanical damage
What actually causes this:
Room temperature sensor lost connection or failed, preventing the refrigerator from adjusting cooling based on room temperature
First Thing to Check
Check that CN60 connector is fully inserted and look for any water damage
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check CN60 and CN90 connector insertion
- 2
Measure voltage between CN60 pin 5 (W/BLU) and CN90 pin 8
- 3
Measure resistance between same pins
- 4
Compare to temperature table DATA1
- 5
Verify actual ambient temperature
