Error Code F_SENSOR

Freezer compartment temperature sensor malfunction

Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: F Sensor Error

What This Means

Bad connector contact at CN20 pin 10 and 12; Open circuit or short in sensor; Water damage to sensor or connector; Sensor age-related resistance change; Mechanical damage to sensor

What actually causes this:

Freezer temperature sensor disconnected or failed, preventing proper freezer cooling control

First Thing to Check

Check that connector CN20 is fully inserted and look for water or frost

Parts Involved

F SensorMAIN PCB CN20 connector pins 10-12R224 resistor (IC01 MICOM #7)

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Check CN20 connector insertion

  2. 2

Measure voltage between CN20 pins 10 and 12 (YEL and YEL)

  3. 3

    Measure resistance between same pins

  4. 4

    Compare to temperature table DATA1

  5. 5

    Inspect sensor for physical damage
