Also displayed as: HS

How to Fix

  1. 1

Turn off the dryer and call for service.

  2. 2

Before calling, verify the moisture sensor bars are not just reading a wet load incorrectly.

  3. 3

If confirmed faulty, disconnect connector NA6 from controller.

  4. 4

Short Pin 3 (Orange Wire) and Pin 4 (Red Wire) on the 6-pin connector to controller.

  5. 5

During Diagnostic Test mode, check if display value is within range per Table 2: 70%-40% IMC displays 50-130 at 2.5V; 40%-20% IMC displays 130-205 at 2.0-4.0V; dried clothes display 205-240 at over 4.0V.

  6. 6

If value is out of range in diagnostics but NA6 voltage between Pin 3 (Orange) and Pin 2 (Blue) is correct, replace the moisture sensor / electrode sensor.

  7. 7

If NA6 voltage is also out of range, replace the controller.
