Error Code 2
Fridge temperature sensor is open, shorted, or disconnected
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: F and R LEDs blink (item 2)
What This Means
Disconnected or loose sensor connector at CN51; Open or shorted fridge thermistor; Damaged wiring between sensor and PCB; Failed MAIN PCB sensor input at IC01 MICOM pin 8
What actually causes this:
The fridge compartment thermistor has failed or its connector is loose, so the board cannot regulate the fridge temperature properly
First Thing to Check
Open the fridge and locate the thermistor connector — push it firmly into place
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check voltage at MAIN PCB CN51 pin 14 (W/BRN) to pin 13; should be 4.5V to 1.0V
- 2
Verify CN51 connector is fully inserted
- 3
Disconnect sensor and measure resistance; compare to DATA1 temperature table
- 4
If PCB input voltage (IC01 MICOM pin 8) is abnormal with good harness, replace MAIN PCB
