Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F and R LEDs blink (item 8)
What This Means
Disconnected ice maker sensor connector at CN30; Open or shorted ice maker thermistor; Damaged wiring to ice maker sensor
What actually causes this:
The sensor that monitors ice maker temperature has failed, preventing the ice maker from operating correctly
First Thing to Check
Locate the CN30 connector on the MAIN PCB and ensure it is firmly seated
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check voltage at MAIN PCB CN30 pin 9 (WHT) to pin 11 (WHT); should be 4.5V to 1.0V
- 2
Verify CN30 connector is fully inserted
- 3
Unplug sensor and measure resistance; compare to DATA1 temperature table
- 4
If PCB input voltage (IC01 MICOM pin 12) is abnormal with good harness, replace MAIN PCB
