Error Code 22
Refrigerator compartment fan motor is not running
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: Error 22
What This Means
Fridge BLDC fan motor failed; No 7V-12V supply to fan motor at CN30-8 to CN30-9; Pulse feedback wire damage at CN30-7; Ice blocking fan; Connector CN30 loose
What actually causes this:
The fan circulating cold air through the refrigerator has stopped, causing uneven or poor cooling.
First Thing to Check
Open the refrigerator and listen for the fan behind the back panel — if it is not running and the compressor is on, the fan motor may have failed.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check voltage at MAIN PCB CN30-8 to CN30-9: should be DC 7V to 12V
- 2
Check pulse signal at CN30-7: alternates when fan runs
- 3
Run manual force test via engineer mode
- 4
Verify ambient temperature above 66.2°F (19°C) — fan may not run below 59°F (15°C)
