What This Means

Ambient/humidity sensor module failed; Connector CN34-5 or CN34-7 loose; Wiring damage to sensor module; Moisture intrusion in sensor

What actually causes this:

The sensor that reads the room temperature around the refrigerator has failed, which can affect how aggressively the fridge cools.

First Thing to Check

Locate the humidity/ambient sensor inside the refrigerator and check that its connector is fully seated.

How to Fix

    Check voltage at MAIN PCB CN34-5 to CN34-7: should be between 1.0V and 4.5V

  2. 2

    Check MICOM IC01 pin #12 voltage (R348 on PCB)

  3. 3

    Inspect sensor connector seating at CN34
