What This Means

What actually causes this:
The heating element that prevents the water supply pipe to the ice maker from icing over has an open circuit or short
First Thing to Check
Power off and measure resistance at CN30 pins 5-7 with a multimeter

Separate MAIN PCB CN30 wire from PCB

Measure resistance between CN30 pin 5 and pin 7; should be 63 ohm ±7%

0 ohm indicates heater short; open indicates wire/bimetal issue
